- Oseyo is a modern Korean restaurant serving family recipes and inventive cocktails in a fun, comfortable environment. It’s also located directly across the street from the Heywood, and we can’t recommend it enough!
- Licha’s Cantina is a small East Austin house converted into a casual patio restaurant with a funky, local vibe. The focus is on Interior and Coastal Mexican food made with fresh, in-house tortillas and handground masa. And don’t forget the margaritas!
- Uptown Sports Club is the creative culinary venture from Franklin Barbecue owner Aaron Franklin and friends. They have reimagined a 1949 historic sports-betting club as a sophisticated and welcoming modern restaurant featuring Louisiana-meets-Texas fare, a raw bar, and great cocktails.
- Bufalina serves award-winningNeapolitan-style pizza in a warm and lively environment andoffers an extensive wine list, making it a great option for a dinner for two.
- Buenos Aires Cafe serves delicious Argentinian cuisine from its vibrant cafe on East Sixth Street. Their fresh-made empanadas are a must-try!
- Sawyer & Co. is a modern diner that serves Southern-inspired dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It also has a great drink menu which you can enjoy from its retro-style patio.
- Casa Bianca is a fantastic addition to the East Austin dining scene and we couldn’t be happier to have them as neighbors! Executive Chef/Owner Joseph Zoccoli calls his food “weirdo Italian.” Small plates and entrees are influenced by Japanese forms and techniques. There’s also a rooftop bar that’s perfect for enjoying summer sunsets.
- Intero serves fresh, seasonally inspired Italian fare and excellent wine and cocktails in a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Their focus is on whole product usage and creative preparations of only the freshest, locally-sourced produce. This owner-operated restaurant is a favorite of Heywood Hotel staff and guests.
- Hillside Farmacy is an East Austin mainstay. This farm-to-table “farmacy” is antique chic, and definitely one of the cutest spots in town. They thoughtfully source produce supporting local farms and ranches and provide updated seasonal menus for guaranteed freshness.
- Siena Ristorante Toscana has been serving authentic Tuscan cuisine for more than20 years. Set in a rustic stone building with indoor and outdoor seating, Siena sets the mood for a romantic dinner date.
- Brew and Brew is an all-day spot for coffee, brunch, beer, and more. We love this casual, hip spot for weekend brunch which includes breakfast sandwiches, plates, and bagels.
- Industry is a casual scratch kitchen that’s a great place to watch sports or enjoy a weekend brunch. The restaurant serves an extensive brunch menu with dishes that include breakfast bowls, sandwiches, sides, and classic breakfast plates.
